«Can I not answer the question?» Hayk Sargsyan, the nephew of former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, responded to journalists' inquiries about the charges brought against his uncle before the start of a court session.

Today, on December 5, the court session about Hayk Sargsyan is taking place at the Shengavit residence of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, presided over by Judge Anna Danibekyan.

It is noteworthy that Hayk Sargsyan is charged with an attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons in connection with a crime that occurred 11 years ago. He faces charges under Article 34-104 (attempted murder) and Article 235 (illegal acquisition and possession of weapons) of the RA Criminal Code.
