Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Has Never Visited Armenia: UAE Embassy Clarification

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi has never visited Armenia. This information comes from Armenpress.am. Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, mentioned that after the revolution, he had invited both the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the owner of the Rotana hotel chain to Armenia, as they expressed a desire to make investments in the country. However, the meeting with the Mayor of Yerevan and the chief architect did not go well. According to the parliamentarian, he personally spoke with Nikol Pashinyan to organize the meeting.

As reported by Armenpress, citing the Information Verification Center’s online platform, the UAE Embassy in Armenia confirmed that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has never visited Armenia.

In the summer of 2019, the son of the UAE President, Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, arrived in Armenia; however, he is not the Crown Prince. The UAE Embassy informed the Information Verification Center that the President's son came to Armenia on a business trip and that they did not organize any official meetings.

The fact that the Crown Prince has never been to Armenia is also confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
