New Armenian Airline Name Revealed

A new Armenian airline will soon enter the Armenian aviation market. This was announced yesterday by Tatevik Revazyan, the head of the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia, during a session in the National Assembly. However, Revazyan did not disclose the name of the airline.

According to the newspaper 'Joghout', it has become known that the airline in question is 'Fly Armenia Airways'. According to some information, the airline's managers are British. We have learned that by mid-January, the company will bring several Boeing aircraft to Armenia.

The airline plans to start flights at the end of March and intends to hire employees who possess aircraft operating licenses. At the same time, the airline has announced that it will open more than 200 jobs in the coming months.

It is worth noting that if it is possible to establish an Armenian airline and create 200 jobs, then why is the Civil Aviation Committee allowing an Irish low-cost carrier into the Armenian aviation market? On the other hand, it cannot be ruled out that the low-budget airlines could pose serious challenges for the newly formed airline. This issue has started to worry aviation experts,” the newspaper writes.
