Mother of Slain Soldier Faints Near the National Assembly Amidst Tense Situation
The relatives of Arthur Ishkhanian Ajamyan, an ethnic Yazidi soldier who sustained a fatal gunshot wound under unclear circumstances at a military post located in the northeastern direction of the Defense Army, staged a protest in front of the National Assembly today.
During the gathering, Rustam Bakoyan, a member of the National Assembly from the 'My Step' faction, met with the family of the slain soldier. He stated that the launched criminal case would provide all the answers: "I will be following every step to ensure that the case moves through legal proceedings, what happened will be revealed, and if there are guilty parties, they will be held accountable under the law."
During the meeting, the soldier’s mother fainted. Rustam Bakoyan and those present provided assistance and escorted her to the ambulance.
