Azerbaijan Presents Its Position on the Resolution of the Artsakh Issue

Azerbaijan has presented its position on the resolution of the conflict regarding Artsakh to the members of the OSCE Ministerial Council. According to minval.az, the published document states that Azerbaijan remains inclined towards a "political solution to the conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group."

The document emphasizes that "the resolution of the conflict is only possible based on the norms and principles of international law, respecting Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty." According to Baku, the first step must be the withdrawal of Armenian troops from Artsakh and the integration of Artsakh into Azerbaijan, after which peaceful coexistence of Azerbaijani and Armenian communities in Artsakh can take place.
