A Song About a Departing Train: Nikol Pashinyan on the ARF
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated today, December 4, during a Q&A session in the National Assembly, that no minister's resignation can be the result of the whims of a political force with zero political influence. This comment was made in response to MP Anush Beglaryan's question regarding the recent action by the youth of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF).
Pashinyan emphasized that he has addressed this issue and stated that no individual is pursuing policy in the field of education; instead, policy is conducted by the Government of Armenia, and he has provided necessary clarifications on the discussed matters.
“You know, no minister's resignation can be a result of the whims of a political force with zero political influence. We are talking about a political force that has been one of the important pillars of illegal corrupt power in Armenia for many years, if not more. I believe that if this political force does not confront reality and does not assess the actions of a known part of its elite from a certain period, it has no future in Armenia. There was a song about a departing train, chuk-chak-charak-chak, we can hear the rumbling of the wheels,” he noted.
