Lars Closed to Trucks

The Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to trucks with trailers, but open for others. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Highways of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.

The press service of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations also reports that as of 3:00 PM, there are impassable roads within the territory of Armenia. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

The Vardenyac Pass is closed to trucks with trailers, while it is difficult for others to traverse. The Sotk-Karvachar highway is also difficult to pass.

On the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagrateashen highway, construction work is ongoing, resulting in a section of the road being closed to trucks. An alternative route has been established via the Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagrateashen highway.
