David Khajakyan Invites Mayor Hayk Marutyan to a Live Debate

David Khajakyan, the leader of the "Lus" faction in the Yerevan City Council, has invited Mayor Hayk Marutyan to a live debate.

“Dear Mr. Marutyan, we have been raising alarms for days about the corrupt nature of your transactions and the abuse of official powers. You responded during a live broadcast, which has raised even more questions. I hereby terminate this remote debate and invite you to a face-to-face live debate, which has no alternative as an element of democratic culture. During the debate, I will substantiate why I insist that there are corrupt practices and abuses of official powers in your actions, and you will be able to respond point by point to the raised questions. I await your response by tomorrow at 18:00 to arrange with the television station,” Khajakyan stated.
