Armored Vehicle Transporting Russian Soldiers Explodes in Syria
While patrolling the border between Syria and Turkey, an armored vehicle belonging to the Russian armed forces exploded on a mine. This was reported by Interfax, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.
The incident occurred on December 2 in the Syrian city of Kobani. The armored vehicle, carrying Russian soldiers, detonated a homemade explosive device. Three servicemen sustained minor bodily injuries, but their lives are not in danger. The explosion caused damage to the armored vehicle.
