Johnson: Terror Convicts Should Not Be Granted Early Release
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has stated that individuals convicted of terrorist offenses should not be allowed to be released early. This announcement follows an incident on the London Bridge, which has been classified by the police as a terrorist attack, as reported by Reuters.
Recall that an unidentified individual attacked pedestrians with a knife on London Bridge, injuring multiple people. Two individuals succumbed to their injuries. Those injured are currently hospitalized.
It is noted that the attacker, 28-year-old Usman Khan, had previously been convicted of terrorism but was released early in 2018.
