Jamoord. Details about the Soldier's Suicide Case
Jamoord newspaper reports that exclusive details have emerged regarding the investigation into the hanging of serviceman Vahan Musheghyan, a private, in the territory of the Dilijan training center.
Recall that the soldier was found hanging from a tree with a rope on the morning of November 26.
According to the newspaper's information, the rope used for the hanging did not belong to the military unit, and there was no such rope in the unit at all. The investigation has revealed that the soldier was given that rope, and law enforcement has located and interrogated the person who provided it.
The identity of the provider is also known to the newspaper, but to avoid compromising the preliminary investigation, we do not disclose the name, regardless of how extraordinary it is regarding how the rope reached him.
As part of the criminal case, 30 individuals, including soldiers and command personnel of the unit, have been interrogated. Everyone unanimously stated that Vahan was a respected, clean soldier and had no issues with anyone in the unit.
Not all of Vahan's relatives have been interrogated by law enforcement; they will do so once some time has passed after his burial.
