I Challenge Mehriban and I am Definitely Going to Listen to Komitas in Baku: Naira Zohrabyan

Member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, Naira Zohrabyan, has issued a challenge to Azerbaijan's First Vice President and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva, on Facebook.

"I am challenging Mehriban and I will definitely listen to Komitas in Baku," she wrote.

"Azerbaijan's Vice President, Ilham Aliyev's wife Mehriban Aliyeva, has spoken about her dream, which turns out is to listen to mugham in Artsakh. Of course, our foreign ministry should respond at some level to Mehriban khanum, who is not a mere Azerbaijani 'woman' wanting to listen to mugham in Karabakh, but the Vice President of that country and a likely candidate for the presidency.

But since this lady has recently crossed all bounds of political and diplomatic correctness, I challenge the Azerbaijani Vice President and confidently say: she will definitely not listen to mugham in Artsakh, but I promise to listen to Komitas in Baku and I will do so," Zohrabyan concluded.
