Where Were You, Arthur Meschan? Naira Zohrabyan

“Notification of a crime? Where were you, Arthur Meschan?
After persistent resistance, yesterday the City Hall published the list of donors of waste disposal vehicles, which reportedly has a foul smell of corruption scandals.
Among the donors is Samvel Aleksanyan’s “Alex Holding” LLC, which donated three multifunctional “KAMAZ” vehicles. According to the media, these “KAMAZ” vehicles were not provided for our mayor Hayk Marutyan’s beautiful eyes or for any Oscar-worthy interpretation of Garnik's character in the “Azizyan” sitcom.
In exchange for the three “KAMAZ” trucks, the City Hall signed the completion act for the construction of the “Mega Mall” shopping center, which had not been signed previously.
Next is “N” and “S” LLC, which donated 14 units of equipment to the City Hall. As reported by the “Hraparak” newspaper, in return, they received a construction permit for 5-6 buildings in Davtashen, which had originally been designed to be 14 stories. However, it seems that 14 units of equipment served as a good doping for the mayor, who allowed the donor an additional four floors.
Among the City Hall's donors is also “Teryan-5” LLC, owned by the sons of the former head of the State Revenue Committee Gagik Khachatryan. However, their contribution is not vehicles but the fleet and service center intended for the City Hall’s “Sanitation and Waste Collection” agency being constructed in Charbakh (address: Shiraki 88/1). Yet, according to the media, it turns out this is not much of a gift either. In return, they were permitted to add five more floors to a hotel being constructed on the site of the demolished building of the Afrikyan family on Pushkin Street. The initial permit allowed for 17 floors; now they're building 22. Bravo.
I believe that the Prosecutor General’s Office should consider this media publication as a declaration of a crime and should address it immediately.
And one more indiscreet question: Where is the Chief Architect of Yerevan, Arthur Meschan, who had supposedly created some urban planning council and was distributing construction permits? I don't want to violate anyone's presumption of innocence, but if it turns out that all this is true, this will be one of the biggest corruption scandals in post-revolutionary Armenia. And Arthur Meschan will not be spared the singing of “Where Were You, God,” while Mayor Hayk Marutyan, who is reportedly suffering from chronic depression and has again left Armenia, will not escape mere dismissal. This is certain.”
