Companies Connected to Former and Current Officials Donated Garbage Trucks to the City Hall

The Yerevan City Hall has published the names of the companies that donated garbage trucks to the community. All these companies are interconnected with former and current officials. Moreover, two of these companies were granted addresses by the City Hall months ago, reports Hetq.

The company of the wife of the head of the National Security Service's investigative department is preparing to construct a residential complex at the address provided by the City Hall.

‘N and S Construction’ LLC donated 10 GAZ brand and 4 KamAZ brand garbage trucks to the City Hall. ‘N and S Construction’ LLC is a newly established company, founded on January 11, 2019. Among the company's shareholders is Armine Yeghiazaryan (12.5%), who is the wife of Arthur Aghajanyan, the head of the NSC's investigative department. The other 50% shareholder is Aida Hovhannisyan, while Marina Tadevosyan, Narek Asatryan, and Samvel Manijoyan hold 12.5% shares each.

This company plans to build a multifunctional residential complex at the addresses 22 Yeghvard Highway and 64 Anastas Mikoyan in the Davtashen administrative district. These addresses were allocated to the company’s plot of land by the decision of Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan on March 22, 2019. In exactly one week, on December 6, a public discussion will be held regarding the company's preliminary assessment of the environmental impact of the construction works.

The charter capital of ‘N and S Construction’ LLC is 10,000 drams. There are no data regarding this company in the mandatory payment system of the Servicemen's Insurance Fund, leaving the number of employees or whether it has employees a mystery for the public. At the same time, according to the State Revenue Committee, ‘N and S Construction’ was the 104th among the 1000 large taxpayers for January-March of this year, paying 364 million drams in taxes.

Armine Yeghiazaryan owns a 12.5% share in the company. Since October 27, 2018, she has also been the 100% shareholder of ‘Art Oil’ LLC.

Another garbage truck of the KamAZ brand was donated to the City of Yerevan by the company ‘HBM Group’. The owner of 33% of this company is Hrant Beglaryan, who served as the first deputy minister of transport and communications from 2000 to 2013. His daughter Anna Beglaryan holds 0.02% of the shares, while Hrachya Minasyan and Hrant Hakhnazaryan each own 33% of the company. On August 22 of this year, Hrant Beglaryan, Hrachya Minasyan, and Hrant Hakhnazaryan received allocated addresses from the Yerevan City Hall for their two plots located at Northern Avenue 8 (building 11 and building 6).

The trio also co-owned another company, ‘Smart Choice’ LLC. Despite donating a garbage truck to the city, the company had an outstanding tax obligation of about 244,000 drams as of July 3 of this year.

“Samvel Aleksanyan did not donate,” it was his cousin, Hrachya Sharoyan, who made the donation.

The City Hall also received three KamAZ brand garbage trucks from Hrachya Sharoyan's company ‘Alex and Holding’, which is registered at 15/1 Ohanovi St. in Malatia-Sebastia, where the main office of the ‘Yerevan City’ supermarket chain is also located.
