Azerbaijan's Border Guards Fear Armenian Cigarettes and Nard
The representative of Azerbaijan's border service boasted today about their efforts to prohibit the importation of Armenian products into Azerbaijan, stating that they destroy them upon discovery. According to Infoteka24, the head of the checkpoint located near the city of Astara, at the border with Iran, declared that in the last two years, there have only been two attempts to import any Armenian products into Azerbaijan. He noted that in both instances, the attempts were made by Iranian citizens.
The border guard mentioned that one individual was found with Armenian-produced cigarettes, while another had nard. In both cases, the products were confiscated and destroyed, as per the border guard's statement. Interestingly, the staff of Infoteka24 congratulated the Azerbaijani customs officers for their vigilant work.
