Christmas Market Not Banned, Municipality Clarifies

The Christmas market in Yerevan has not been banned; it has simply been relocated. This was communicated by the press service of the Yerevan Municipality in response to online rumors suggesting that this year's Christmas market would not take place.

The municipality stated that the Christmas market will this year operate in the area adjacent to Republic Square, specifically in the 2750th Anniversary Park of Yerevan. Meanwhile, in the Northern Avenue, where the Christmas market has been held in recent years, a display of creative Christmas trees will be set up instead.
