Serzh Sargsyan Sends Condolences

The third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has sent a condolence message regarding the passing of the legendary scout Gohar Vardanyan.

“I learned with deep sorrow about the death of the legendary scout, a deserving child of the Armenian people, Gohar Vardanyan. She was a personality fully dedicated to her work, with a noble human character, whose journey, heroic deeds, and professional abilities truly serve as lessons of inspiration and patriotism for generations. Her role and contributions in history deserve deep respect.

My wife Rita and I cherish the warm and bright memories of our numerous meetings with the wise and humble Armenian woman Gohar Vardanyan and her late husband and comrade, the legendary hero Gevorg Vardanyan. We sincerely regret this great loss.
