Identity of Police Officers in Scandalous Video Revealed

In connection with the article published on the news website "NewsMedia.am" titled "Scandalous Video: Domestic Police Using Batons and Gas Masks to Extract Testimonies" and the accompanying video, information has been obtained regarding the identities of three individuals appearing in the video as part of the internal security investigation conducted by the police.

This was confirmed by the Armenian police in response to a query from "Haykakan Jamanak." It was noted that one of the officers has been suspended from duty, while the other two are former police employees. The analysis of the factual data obtained from the service investigation revealed that the recording was made approximately ten years ago, as the mentioned employees served together in the Arabkir division of the police at that time.

The news outlet reports that two of the three individuals have already been summoned to the internal security department of the police.
