Haik Hovhannisyan Resigns from Mandate; Takes on New Position

Haik Hovhannisyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council from the 'My Step' faction, has submitted his resignation from his mandate. This was announced by Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan during a regular council session.

Hovhannisyan has been appointed as the deputy head of the Norq Marash administrative district.

The council member also shared the news about stepping down from his mandate on his Facebook page. “I would like to thank everyone who gave me this opportunity to somehow help you, support you, and voice your issues. During the year, I tried my best to contribute to our city’s benefit. I hope you are satisfied with my work. I am confident that my colleagues will continue to work for the benefit of our city and its citizens,” he wrote.

Hovhannisyan stated that he will now seek to be useful to the Norq-Marash administrative district.
