Azerbaijan is not an energy supplier, but rather a supplier of oil and gas: Nikol Pashinyan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made a post on his Facebook page, sharing an excerpt from an interview he gave to the Italian newspaper ‘Corriere della Sera’. He particularly wrote:
“I gave an interview to ‘Corriere della Sera’ in Rome. The most interesting part of the interview was the following question and answer:
Question - Azerbaijan is one of the main energy suppliers for Italy. Is this a problem for your country’s relations with Italy?
Answer - We have quite good relations (with Italy) and hope that they will further improve. But I would say that Azerbaijan is not an energy supplier, but rather a supplier of oil and gas. Today, the meaning of the word ‘energy’ is changing very rapidly. Soon, the main energy supplier for Italy and all countries will be the sun. Therefore, we must consider the facts and the future.”
