Implementation of Work to Prepare Populations for Peace is Important

On November 25, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Giorgi Tsereteli. Welcoming the OSCE PA president, Minister Mnatsakanyan emphasized Armenia's commitment to expanding multilateral cooperation within the framework of the organization, noting that this visit is a good opportunity to outline the scope of future programs and initiatives.

The interlocutors discussed the broad agenda of reforms being implemented in Armenia and the possible opportunities for cooperation with the OSCE PA in this context.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Giorgi Tsereteli addressed a wide range of issues related to the activities of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. The importance of a parliamentary platform in addressing pan-European security issues was highlighted by both sides.

The interlocutors exchanged views on a number of urgent international and regional topics. Reflecting on the latest developments in the peaceful process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the head of Armenia's foreign policy agency emphasized the importance of creating an environment conducive to peace within the agreed format for conflict resolution.

In this context, the parties stressed the importance of implementing work aimed at preparing populations for peace.
