Deputy Minister of Education Discusses Mel Daluzyan and the '100 Ideas for Armenia' Project
The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Gevorg Loretsyan, did not comment on the decision to allocate 20 million AMD from the ministry for a film about Mel Daluzyan.
"I am not prepared to answer unrelated questions during the press conference. The ministry's stance on the issue you mentioned has been published; you can refer to it," the deputy minister stated.
In response to whether he was willing to talk about it outside the press conference, the deputy minister replied, "I won't comment."
The minister announced that with the ministry's support, a youth competition titled "100 Ideas for Armenia" is being held for young people aged 16-35 from Armenia and the diaspora, with 17 applications submitted.
"The competition has been held since 2017. It aims to develop innovative thinking in the country and ensure the involvement of young people in socio-economic life," the deputy minister noted.
In December, an exhibition showcasing the best innovative projects and scientific-technical developments that reached the final round of the competition will be organized in Yerevan. This will be followed by a committee meeting where the authors will present their projects, and the relevant committee will evaluate them.
The five winners of the competition will receive incentive prizes and certificates.
The deputy minister emphasized the importance of the competition but did not disclose how much funding was allocated from the state budget for its organization.
