“Report a crime.” This is how former Yerevan City Council member Sona Aghekyan titled her Facebook live stream, detailing how police obstructed their peaceful gathering.

“Two days ago, when we tried to support students demanding the resignation of the Minister of Education and organized a small peaceful action, police officers unlawfully obstructed our work, stating that our presence interfered with the work of the Ministry of Education. Subsequently, they used physical force against me, restricting my right to move, and preventing us from carrying out our small action, which indicates that we are living in a repressive system,” said Aghekyan.
