Video: Arthur Aleksanyan Appointed UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador

Olympic champion, triple world champion, and quadruple European champion in Greco-Roman wrestling, Arthur Aleksanyan has been appointed as the national ambassador of UNICEF in Armenia. The official ceremony took place today.

UNICEF has been in Armenia since 1994 and has supported the Armenian government for 25 years in developing and implementing reforms aimed at addressing gaps that hinder the realization of children's rights, with a special focus on the most needy and vulnerable children.

Another goodwill ambassador among Armenian athletes is Henrikh Mkhitaryan, footballer of the Armenian national team and AS Roma.
