Soldier Injured in Nagorno-Karabakh Mine Explosion Undergoes Amputation

A soldier was injured in a mine explosion in Nagorno-Karabakh on November 17. This was reported by Artsrun Hovhannisyan, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
The soldier is a resident of the Choratan community in the Tavush region of Armenia. He was operated on in the Martakert hospital, where the lower part of his leg was amputated.
