Major Traffic Accident Occurs in Kotayk Province, Injured Taken to Hospital (Photos)

Today, on November 18, a major traffic accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 20:55, on the 30 km section of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, vehicles with license plates 35 QT 880 (Honda), 36 NՏ 517 (Mercedes), and 36 CՍ 016 (Opel) collided.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, 2 individuals with bodily injuries were taken to the 'Charentsavan' medical center.

Operational units from the 2nd subdivision of the 2nd police battalion, led by squad commander Sargis Bagratyan, promptly arrived at the scene. The investigative activities at the site are being directed by senior investigator Minasyan from the 2nd police battalion, who is preparing materials regarding the incident. The police are working to establish the identities of the drivers and the injured.
