Theft of Large Cattle in Kotayk Province: 12 Animals Stolen This Time
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, another incident of large cattle theft occurred in Kotayk Province yesterday, on the 16th. At around 10:00 AM, a 54-year-old resident of Zovuni village, Mr. Mraz Avdalyan, alerted the police station in Nairi, reporting that between 7:00 PM on November 15 and 6:30 AM on November 16, an unknown individual or individuals had broken into his barn located in the eastern part of the Yegvard administrative district by forcing the padlock on the door.
From there, they stole 12 heads of large cattle belonging to him. As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the Chief of Police for Kotayk Province, Sevan Kocharyan, and the head of the Nairi police station, Haik Tumanyan, arrived at the scene.
Materials are being prepared at the investigative department of the Kotayk police regarding the incident. The police are undertaking the necessary operational-search measures to uncover the crime and recover the stolen animals.
