Fire Breaks Out on Roof of Five-Story Building at Intersection of Komitas Avenue and Papazyan Street in Yerevan

Today at 16:32, the "911" service received a report that smoke was observed coming from the roof of a five-story building located at the intersection of Komitas Avenue and Papazyan Street in Yerevan.

Emergency response teams from the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations dispatched three fire engines, one aerial ladder, and crisis management operational groups, along with psychological support personnel and medical teams from the disaster medicine center.

The fire was contained by 17:24 and extinguished by 17:49. The wooden structures on the roof of building number 30 on Komitas Avenue were partially burned over an area of approximately 30 square meters, with 15 square meters suffering thermal damage.
