Video: Sale of a Female Wolf Discovered
EcoNews.am, an environmental information website, reports that their investigation has uncovered the sale of a female wolf. The seller is a user named Davit from the Erebuni administrative district, and the price for the animal is set at 200 thousand AMD.
According to the EcoNews.am investigation, the seller is Davit Gabrielyan, a practicing veterinarian and the brother of Tigran Gabrielyan, the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia.
"The wolf freely roams the area and interacts with another animal—a dog. Although, according to our interlocutor, the animal has been kept by a human for 4 years, the wolf remains a predatory animal, and a freely roaming wolf poses a threat to public safety and order. This particular wolf can be dangerous to both people and other animals in the area, and it is unclear what measures will be taken regarding the animal in case of any issues arising to neutralize the threat," the publication states.
