Six Teenagers Detained for Assaulting a Child
On November 14, at 11 a.m., an unknown citizen called the police to report that about ten minutes earlier, a child had been assaulted on Titogradyan Street by a group of approximately ten individuals.
The police's Erebuni division dispatched an operational group to the scene. By collaborating with the division's criminal investigators and juvenile inspectors, it was determined that during a dispute, 16-17-year-old boys, mostly students of the ‘Erebuni’ State Medical College, along with several unidentified individuals, grossly violated public order. They attacked each other with batons and stones, used abusive language, and damaged a parked Toyota Camry.
Six teenagers have been detained on suspicion of hooliganism and provided explanations. Authorities are clarifying the circumstances, and materials are being prepared for further investigation.
