26-Year-Old Woman Without a Driver's License Hits and Kills 38-Year-Old Man in Yerevan

Today, on November 15, a fatal hit-and-run occurred in Yerevan. Around 02:10 AM, 26-year-old Anush Nersisyan, a resident of the Armavir region, hit 38-year-old Gagik Voskanyan, a resident of Yerevan, with her Nissan vehicle on Monte Melkonyan Street, near power station number 4. This information was reported by Shamshyan.com.

The victim lost consciousness shortly after the incident and died en route to the Armenia Medical Center via an ambulance.

In light of the incident, a criminal case has been initiated by D. Martirosyan based on the provisions of Part 2 of Article 242 of the Armenian Criminal Code.

The car has been moved to a secured area managed by the traffic police of Yerevan, and the driver did not possess a valid driver's license.

According to reports, driver A. Nersisyan worked as a waitress at a bakery specializing in Caucasian cuisine, while the deceased was the brother of the senior prosecutor at the military prosecution office of Yerevan.
