The former head of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union, Nazik Amiryan, the wife of Manvel Grigoryan, was questioned in connection with a criminal case regarding the theft of property valued at 571 million 166 thousand drams. In a conversation with reporters, she addressed her involvement in the case.
Speaking about the "Hayapaki" company, whose property is alleged to have been transferred through criminal schemes, Amiryan said, "I have put in a lot of effort to revive that plant from the ruins. It is a fabricated charge." In response to the question regarding her status during the questioning, Amiryan replied, "Just as a witness."
She informed that the new buyer, who acquired the plant from the state, has "revitalized" the plant, and it continues to operate. When asked about the origin of the significant figure of 571 million, which is also linked to her name in terms of theft, Amiryan responded, "To avoid giving a blunt answer, let’s not discuss that question."
