Lavrov to Make Official Visit to Armenia
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, is set to make an official visit to Armenia. This was announced today during a press briefing by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“In accordance with the agreements, on November 10-11, the head of Russia’s foreign affairs agency will make an official visit to Yerevan. The program of the Russian minister’s visit to Armenia includes meetings with the Prime Minister and the President of the Republic, as well as negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The minister will also lay a wreath at the Eternal Flame near the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide,” Zakharova stated.
During the visit, Lavrov is expected to meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President Armen Sarkissian, and Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.
