Mouflons and Kangaroos Died Due to Life-Incompatible Injuries: SFS
Recently, the management of the Yerevan Zoo reported that three kangaroos and three mouflons had died as a result of the actions of a pack of dogs that had infiltrated the zoo area. This was reported by the Food Safety Inspection Body.
Employees of the 'Republican Veterinary Sanitary and Phytosanitary Laboratory Services Center', operating under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, conducted a laboratory post-mortem examination on the deceased animals. It was found that all six animals had died due to injuries caused by external influences that were incompatible with life (traces of sharp and piercing objects on the neck, cervical spine fractures, myocardial infarction foci, torn abdominal wall, etc.). Samples were also taken for microbiological testing. No deviations were detected.
