VIDEO: When I visited Levon in March, he was lying in the intensive care unit - Anna Hakobyan

Anna Hakobyan has shared a video on her Facebook page, captioning it: "When I visited Levon at the end of March this year, he was lying in the intensive care unit connected to a ventilator. I had read about Levon's illness on one of the news sites. The 18-year-old boy was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, and he was unable to move his arms and legs, even breathe independently. The staff at St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center was doing everything to save his life, but the only option to pull Levon from his extremely critical condition was the Octagam medication, which had a minimum usage duration of five days. The drug is quite expensive, and the cost of using it for one day exceeds one million drams. I am very happy and grateful that our benefactors and friends responded to my request, and we were able to acquire the medication in a short period of time. During these six months, Levon's treatment at the Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center has been organized exclusively free of charge. Now, Levon is in the Homeland Defender Rehabilitation Center, where he is receiving rehabilitative treatment again with the support of our benefactors. Thanks to the diligent work of specialists, his perseverance, and willpower, Levon is already walking independently. I am confident that he will complete his rehabilitative treatment with great results, and as he promised, after the treatment, he will go to Etchmiadzin to pray at the Mother See."
