Major Car Accident Occurs in Ararat Province: Mercedes Ends Up in Canal

Today, on October 20, a major car accident occurred in Ararat Province. Around 08:20, the driver of a Mercedes vehicle collided with a ВАЗ 2107 on the 32 km section of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the collision, the Mercedes went off the roadway and ended up in a canal.

Fortunately, based on preliminary information, there were no fatalities or injuries resulting from the accident. A team of doctors from Artashat Hospital arrived promptly, but the drivers reported that they refused medical assistance as they felt fine.
