Reasons Behind the Resignation of the Cadastre Chief
The newspaper «Hraparak» reports that three days ago, we had information that the head of the Cadastre Committee, Sarhat Petrosyan, was going to go on vacation and would not return—he would submit his resignation. For several days we could not reach him, but yesterday we finally connected with his spokesperson, who stated that Petrosyan was still working and there was no such thing.
However, just minutes after our conversation, Petrosyan posted on his Facebook page that he had submitted his resignation and included a lengthy text explaining his reasons for leaving—stating that he does not share "our government's policy and existing approaches in the field of urban development."
In the continuation, it becomes clear that the real reason for his departure is his disagreements with the current and former heads of the Urban Development Committee, which had long been known.
More details can be found in today’s issue of the newspaper.
