Police Identifies Body of Man Found in Canal Nearly Three Months Later (Video)

On August 5, while conducting cleaning works in the canal located at the end of Bournazyan Street in the capital, the body of an unidentified man was discovered.

Thanks to the operational and investigative measures taken by officers from the Erebuni Division of the Police, the identity of the body was confirmed on October 18: it was 36-year-old Armen Harutyunyan, who had been reported missing by the Vagharshapat Division of Police since May 28.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the case.
