No Armenians Injured in Tbilisi Apartment Explosion
The Embassy of Armenia in Georgia has issued a statement regarding the consequences of the explosion that occurred in Tbilisi.
"We inform that among the injured in the strong explosion that took place in one of the residential buildings on Guramishvili Avenue, there are no citizens of the Republic of Armenia or individuals of Armenian descent. The Emergency Management Service reports that four people have been injured as a result of the explosion. Preliminary investigations suggest that the explosion occurred due to the improvised installation of a water heater operating on natural gas," the statement from the embassy reads.
