Hraparak: What do you think the public's reaction will be, will they allow a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister?

Hraparak newspaper writes. Do you think that Gagik Tsarukyan's decision that their faction will not participate in the vote regarding Hrayr Tovmasyan was far-reaching, possibly considering a future candidacy for the position of Prime Minister? We asked My Step MP Hrach Hakobyan.

“No, I do not think so. Such an issue related to the Constitutional Court could not have been raised by the BHK faction, because there have been many other issues where they could have presented such a proposal to take a strong opposition position, but they did not,” he stated.

The BHK is slowly approaching the target; January 14 marks the one-year anniversary of Pashinyan's tenure, and a vote of no confidence process may begin. “I won’t say it’s impossible, or rule it out, but the probability is very small.” So, you are not excluding that as a result of reorganizations there could be a new Prime Minister? Hakobyan fainted with laughter.

“Of course, I rule it out.” Why? “Can you imagine the public's attitude toward what you just said on January 14, when the public knows that some faction, either Luys or BHK is voting no confidence against the Prime Minister in the name of the people?”

“Never say never.” “I’m not saying ‘never,’ but again I ask what you think the public's reaction will be; it’s clear, right? They won’t allow it, to say the least.”

Details are available in today’s issue of the newspaper.
