«Hraparak». The Next Target is Vanetsyan
«Hraparak» newspaper writes: According to expert opinions, the next target on which state resources will be focused is the former Director of the NSS, Arthur Vanetsyan, who is seen as a serious competitor by the current government in the upcoming political contest.
Following Vanetsyan's departure, certain measures have already been taken. The State Revenue Committee inspected two organizations owned by Vanetsyan's father and conducted checks. It seems that nothing was discovered. Then it was reported that the State Oversight Service entered the NSS to inspect the financial and economic sector.
Sources from the newspaper indicated that among more than 20 billion in budget expenditures, a discrepancy of 95,000 drams was found, and there is deliberation on whether to make this public or not. Additionally, the activities of the Football Federation are being examined for the period following Vanetsyan's appointment.
Furthermore, the actions taken against workers at the wholesale flower market adjacent to the newly named Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, where individuals were taken to the police's sixth division and forcefully interrogated, are also directed towards this goal. It is noteworthy that these individuals have sought medical attention and obtained certificates regarding injuries. Of the detained, some naturally fear retaliation and have not filed complaints; however, a few have already turned to the Special Investigative Service through their lawyers to report on police actions.
