Inquiry on Properties Owned by Tovmasyan's Daughters, Says Lawyer

The content of the explanations provided by Hrayr Tovmasyan's daughters indicates that the questions primarily revolved around the properties owned by them, which are actually quite limited. This was announced to reporters by Haik Sargsyan, the lawyer representing the daughters of the President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan.

“In the case of the elder daughter, the relevant property is a garage located in the Kentron administrative district, which she received in 2016 as a gift from her aunt’s daughter. The only property of the younger daughter is a 2014 model Nissan Sentra, which she also received from her aunt’s daughter in 2016,” he stated. He noted that the aunt's daughter has permanently moved to the United States and gifted her property to her sisters.

“There was a specific question regarding the Nissan Patrol vehicle owned by the elder daughter for a short period, which was donated to the Artsakh Defense Army during the April War,” he continued, adding that no questions were asked regarding Hrayr Tovmasyan's activities.

Defense attorney Amram Makinyan mentioned that questions related to Hrayr Tovmasyan's father were about the roof of his house. “When was it renovated, what funds were used, straightforward questions were posed. It was renovated in 2007 with funds from Vardan Tovmasyan, with the assistance of neighbors,” he said.

It is noteworthy that participants of the discussion titled “Legal Challenges of the Republic of Armenia” are currently heading towards the NSS of Armenia in a procession. Today, Hrayr Tovmasyan's 75-year-old father, Vardan Tovmasyan, was being interviewed at the NSS, but his health deteriorated, prompting him to leave the NSS.
