Second Body Retrieved from Ruins of Collapsed House in Kapan

A second body has been recovered from the ruins of a two-story house that collapsed due to a landslide in Kapan.

On October 17, at 08:58, the emergency service received a call reporting that a residential building had collapsed near the Kajaran base in Kapan, Syunik province, and there were citizens trapped inside. Assistance from rescuers was necessary.

A firefighting unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the collapse occurred on 5th Lane of the Railwaymen Street in Kapan.
