Azerbaijanis are Nomadic Arrivals: Mikayel Melkumyan's Response to Azerbaijani Delegate
At a meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union's United Nations Committee in the Serbian capital of Belgrade, an Azerbaijani parliamentarian once again began reciting the same plagiarized text that had been stated in Strasbourg and other international platforms concerning Armenia's alleged territorial occupation of Azerbaijan.
In this regard, the office of Armenian MP Mikayel Melkumyan reports that he briefly and aptly explained that after the collapse of Soviet Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan itself was also divided, and the people of Nagorno-Karabakh decided their fate through a referendum.
M. Melkumyan reiterated that Armenians have lived in these territories, continue to live there, and will live there forever, emphasizing that they earned their right to live there from their ancestors, from ancient times, while Azerbaijanis are nomadic arrivals.
