Kobani Fully Comes Under Control of Syrian Government Forces (Video)

Kobani has completely come under the control of Syrian government forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces. This was reported by Turkish-Kurdish affairs expert Karen Hovhannisyan on his Facebook page, where he also shared a video.

It is noteworthy that Kobani is located right at the border with Turkey.

Recall that on October 9, Turkey announced the start of a military operation in northern Syria, as a result of which it has already targeted Syrian towns such as Tel Abyad, Ras al-Ain, and other areas.

The aim is to “cleanse the area from PKK terrorists,” create a security zone, and resettle 3-4 million Syrian refugees there. As stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, “Turkey has no eye on Syrian territory.”
