ISIS-affiliated group retaliates against civilians (video)

The Bakhtiyaran group, an affiliate of ISIS, supported by the Turkish army, has surrounded all residential areas and is preventing the local population from leaving the danger zone.

Expert on Turkish-Kurdish issues Karen Hovhannisyan shared a video on his Facebook page, showing militants taking revenge on the peaceful population.

It is noteworthy that on October 9, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced through a tweet that Turkish forces had launched military operations in northern Syria, an area controlled by Kurdish forces, allies of the United States. The aim of the operation is to drive Kurdish militias out of northern Syrian territories and establish a 'safe zone.' Turkey aims to relocate 3.6 million Syrian refugees to this zone.
