Video: Accident on Kanakeravan-Mrgashen Highway, Casualties Reported

On October 11, at 10:45 AM, the emergency service '911' received a report about an accident on the Kanakeravan-Mrgashen highway involving two vehicles, with citizens trapped inside. Rescue assistance was requested.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations website, a firefighting and rescue team from Yerevan was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that an 'Opel Astra G' (driver: Seyran S., born in 1975) had collided with a 'VAZ-2107' (driver: Seyran M., born in 1980).

The driver and a passenger of the 'VAZ-2107', identified as Armen M. (born in 1985), managed to exit the vehicle on their own. Emergency medical staff provided them with necessary assistance on-site before transporting them to 'Armenia' Medical Center.

The rescuers disconnected the battery of the 'VAZ-2107' and closed the gas cylinder valve of the 'Opel Astra G'.
