Who is the LHK Candidate in the Audit Chamber?

The newspaper Hraparak reports that the authorities have given the opposition 'Enlightened Armenia' a chance to nominate a member for the Audit Chamber. Today, the issue of the candidate will be discussed at the extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly's Financial and Credit Commission chaired by Mane Tandilyan.

The LHK will nominate Karen Sargsyan for this position. Economist Sargsyan served as a tax inspector in the Tax Control Division of the Ministry of Revenues from 2000 to 2001, and from 2001 to 2006, he was the head of the Procurement Division of the State Procurement Agency. Since 2012, he has been the head of the Department of Economics and Management at the International Scientific Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences.

It is worth noting that Ara Nranian's term as a member of the Audit Chamber is expiring; he was appointed in March 2016.
