Pashinyan on the Military Personnel Insurance Fund (1000 Dram Fund)
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made a post on his Facebook page addressing the Military Personnel Insurance Fund of 1000 drams. Below is the post.
The Military Personnel Insurance Fund (1000 dram fund) will start providing support from January 1, 2020, to the family members of military personnel who were killed in the defense of the homeland, including those who died on or after January 1, 1998, as well as to military personnel who have acquired first or second group disabilities. This decision was made today.
Thus, over a year and a half, we have reversed 19 years in terms of implementing this function. It is important to note that until last year, the fund was compensating only for incidents that occurred on or after January 1, 2017.
Details of the decision will be announced later, but I can say that it has the same parameters as previous decisions aimed at retroactively expanding the range of beneficiaries.
