It is known that the "Hayeli" club has prioritized particularly opposition forces regardless of who has been in power, and statements are made there that do not please any authority. However, the current government seems to consider themselves representatives of the community, all while declaring their commitment to freedom of speech.

Angela Tovmasyan, the founder and editor-in-chief of Hayeli.am, commented on the recent attack against the "Hayeli" club in an interview with Tert.am: "In general, my stance, actions, and the operation of the club, giving as many platforms as possible to the opposition, are often connected to my brother’s role as the President of the Constitutional Court. It cannot be ruled out. Although it cannot be ruled out, initially, they declared, pointed out that I am the sister of Hrayr Tovmasyan, and they have no right to do so, and so on, and so forth,” stated the media leader.
